Basketball Recap: Kings Way Christian School Snaps Six-Game Streak of Losses at Home

Kings Way Christian School won the last time they faced Grace Christian and things went their way on Monday too. Everything went the Kings Way Christian School Crusaders' way against the Grace Christian Crusader as the Kings Way Christian School Crusaders made off with a 56-31 victory. The Crusaders pushed the score to 49-20 by the end of the third, a deficit the Crusader cut but never quite recovered from.

Kings Way Christian School was led to victory by Drew Hayman and Jed Yarnall. Hayman almost dropped a double-double on 16 points and nine boards, while Yarnall dropped a double-double on 16 points and 14 rebounds. The contest was Yarnall's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Daniel Gammon, who posted eight points in addition to six rebounds and three steals.

Kings Way Christian School smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in 12 consecutive matchups.

Despite the defeat, Grace Christian saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Thad Shuler earned 11 points.

Kings Way Christian School's win ended a six-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-12. As for Grace Christian, they are on a 31-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-14.

Kings Way Christian School has already played their next game (against Varsity Opponent), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Grace Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
