Basketball Recap: Iowa Comes Up Short

Iowa suffered their closest loss since January 4th on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Washington-Marion Charging Indians by a score of 46-43. The defeat continues a trend for the Yellowjackets in their matchups with the Charging Indians: they've now lost seven in a row.

Iowa's loss dropped their record down to 22-16. As for Washington-Marion, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-11 record this season.

Iowa is taking a road trip to take on DeQuincy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Washington-Marion does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
