A healthy portion of that aerial production (80 yards to be exact) also went to Jackson Steinle, who also brought in a receiving touchdown.

Meanwhile, Plateau Valley faced Vail Christian in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. Plateau Valley strolled past Vail Christian with points to spare, taking the game 50-34. The Cowboys' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Plateau Valley's defense was in the mix too, especially the secondary: they snagged four passes before it was all said and done. The picks came courtesy of Virgil James Kuper and Hunter White. White also set a new season high mark in receiving yards with 84.

West Grand pushed their record up to 4-0 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Plateau Valley, their victory bumped their record up to 3-1.

West Grand came up short against Plateau Valley in their previous meeting back in October of 2023, falling 48-36. Thankfully for West Grand, Parker J Richardson (who threw for 298 yards and four touchdowns, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground) won't be suiting up this time.
