Preview: Bullard Knights vs. Central Grizzlies
The Bullard Knights are on the road again on Tuesday and play against the Central Grizzlies at 5:00 p.m. on December 5th. Bullard has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 367 points over their last five matches.
Bullard pushed their score all the way to 66 on Saturday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They lost to Clovis North on the road by a decisive 80-66 margin. Despite running the score up even higher than they did on Friday (59), Bullard still had to take the loss.
Meanwhile, Central came up short against Sanger on Tuesday and fell 52-45.
Despite the loss, Central had strong showings from Gerald Perry, Jr., who scored 14 points, and Ej Jefferson, who scored 6 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kenneth White jr, who scored 6 points.
Their wins bumped Bullard to 3-2 and Clovis North to 3-1.
Everything went Bullard's way against Central when the teams last played back in December of 2022 as Bullard made off with a 66-40 victory. Will Bullard repeat their success, or does Central have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
