Softball Recap: Lincoln Comes Up Short

Lincoln suffered their closest loss since March 21st on Friday. They fell just short of the Rochester Rockets by a score of 4-2. The Railsplitters haven't had much luck with the Rockets recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Lincoln's defeat dropped their record down to 11-11. As for Rochester, they pushed their record up to 17-6 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home.

Lincoln has already played their next matchup, an 8-0 loss against Dunlap on the 25th. Rochester has also already played their next contest (against Taylorville), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
