Soccer Recap: Dixie Comes Up Short

Dixie fought the good fight in their overtime match against Cedar on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Reds by a score of 1-0. Dixie haven't had much luck with Cedar recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Dixie's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Cedar, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 5-4 record.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Dixie will take on rival Crimson Cliffs at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Cedar is set to square off against their familiar foe Snow Canyon at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
