Presentation hasn't had much luck against St. Ignatius College Preparatory recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Panthers will venture away from home to challenge the Wildcats at 4:00 p.m. Presentation will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each matchup than the last.
On Monday, Presentation made easy work of Castilleja and carried off a 17-4 win.

Allie Malatesta was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she tossed three innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off four hits. What's more, she posted five strikeouts, the most she's had since back in March. She was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs.
In other batting news, Julia Simon was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. That's the most hits she has posted since back in March. Juliana Yurko was another key player, going a perfect 1-for-1 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.
Presentation was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .409. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .355 or higher in three consecutive games.
Meanwhile, St. Ignatius College Preparatory was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They came up short against Mills, falling 8-1.
St. Ignatius College Preparatory saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Gianna Galarza, who went 2-for-4 with one double and one RBI.
Presentation's record now sits at 6-11. As for St. Ignatius College Preparatory, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-6.
St. Ignatius College Preparatory's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Presentation has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .469. It's a different story for St. Ignatius College Preparatory, though, as they've only averaged .359. Will they be able to contain Presentation's hitters?
Presentation might still be hurting after the 15-5 loss they got from St. Ignatius College Preparatory in their previous matchup back in May of 2024. Can the Panthers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
