While John Paul II was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-20.

John Paul II's defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 7-5-2. As for Hilton Head Island, their win ended a five-match drought at home and bumped them up to 5-15.

John Paul II wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Hilton Head Christian Academy on the 27th. As for Hilton Head Island, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Beaufort on the 27th.
