Preview: Bath Wildcats vs. Memorial Roughriders
The Bath Wildcats will head out on the road to square off against the Memorial Roughriders at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Bath will be strutting in after a win while Memorial will be coming in after a loss.
Last Thursday, Bath earned a 37-24 win over Wapakoneta. Given Bath's advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 153rd, while Wapakoneta is ranked 384th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, Memorial came up short against Bellefontaine on Saturday and fell 45-37.
Bath has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season. As for Memorial, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-10.
Bath beat Memorial 45-35 when the teams last played back in February of 2023. The rematch might be a little tougher for Bath since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
