Softball Recap: York Takes a Loss

York fell victim to Haverling and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 12-0 to the Rams, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Golden Knights have struggled against the Rams recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

York's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Haverling, they pushed their record up to 3-0 with the win, which was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season.

York didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 14-10 loss against Pavilion on the 25th. As for Haverling, they will head out to face off against Wayland-Cohocton at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Eagles' pitching crew has only allowed 1.7 runs per game this season, so the Rams' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
