Baseball Recap: Northgate Comes Up Short

After flying high against Hillel Academy on Thursday, Northgate came back down to earth. The Flames came up short against the Neshannock Lancers on Monday, falling 16-1. The loss continues a trend for the Flames in their meetings with the Lancers: they've now lost three in a row.

Northgate's defeat dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Neshannock, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-2 record this season.

While Northgate had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
