Volleyball Recap: Valley Forge Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Valley Forge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They came up short against the Lakewood Rangers, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rangers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 two weeks ago.

While Valley Forge was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Lakewood's winning margin in every set. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-20, 25-22.

Valley Forge's loss dropped their record down to 4-16. As for Lakewood, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 15-7.

Looking ahead, Valley Forge will host Garfield at 7:00 a.m. on Thursday. As for Lakewood, they will be taking part in a tournament against Hudson at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
