Baseball Recap: Brush Comes Up Short

Brush was the 7-4 winner over Roosevelt when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Arcs fell 7-2 to the Rough Riders on Wednesday. The Arcs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Kyle Farrell made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base and one run. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played.

Brush's defeat dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Roosevelt, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-9.

Looking ahead, Brush will take on Chardon at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Hilltoppers will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Arcs surely won't give up without a fight. As for Roosevelt, they will square off against Woodridge at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
