There's no place like home for Lakewood, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Wednesday. Everything went their way against the East Columbus Gators on Wednesday as they made off with a 9-2 win. This was a revenge game for Lakewood: when they faced off against East Columbus back in September, they had to take a 4-3 loss.

Lakewood has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-10-1 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 23 goals over those four matches. As for East Columbus, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-7-2.
