Basketball Recap: Camden Catholic Comes Up Short

Camden Catholic entered their game against Paul VI on Tuesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Camden Catholic Fighting Irish were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 54-53 to the Paul VI Eagles. The Fighting Irish were probably out for revenge after losing 38-35 to them when the teams met back in February of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Camden Catholic's defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 10-3. As for Paul VI, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 12-2.

Camden Catholic has already played their next contest (against Montgomery), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Paul VI didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 52-44 win against Moorestown on the 23rd.
