Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Fort Bend Kempner). Everything went their way against the Lamar Consolidated Mustangs on Tuesday as the Fort Bend Kempner Cougars made off with a 7-3 win. It was an even better day for Sophie Borjon as she scored three goals for her team.

The victory (which was Fort Bend Kempner's third in a row) raised their record to 3-7. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 11 goals over those three matches. As for Lamar Consolidated, their loss was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-9.

Coincidentally, Fort Bend Kempner and Lamar Consolidated will both be playing Randle the next time they take the pitch. Lamar Consolidated will host Randle at 7:15 p.m. on Friday, while Fort Bend Kempner will head out to face them at 7:15 p.m. on February 11th.
