Basketball Recap: North Decatur's Win on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Four

North Decatur extended their winning streak to four games thanks to a huge performance from Jo Whitaker. The North Decatur Chargers strolled past the Paoli Rams with points to spare on Thursday, taking the game 47-32 thanks in part to Whitaker, who went 6 for 9 on her way to 13 points and seven rebounds. Those 13 points gave her a new career-high.

Paoli's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Jericho Hopper, who posted 17 points and five steals, and Lilly Hall, who put up six points. Hopper is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed three or more in the last six games she's played.

North Decatur's victory bumped their record up to 9-4. As for Paoli, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-10.

North Decatur didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 54-43 defeat against Madison on the 27th. As for Paoli, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 47-30 win against South Decatur on the 27th.
