Softball Game Preview: Brashear Bulls vs. DuBois Beavers

The Brashear Bulls will venture away from home to square off against the DuBois Beavers at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Brashear is looking for their season's first win.

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Brashear's offense. They lost 10-0 to Taylor Allderdice on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, DuBois sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with an 8-6 victory over Punxsutawney on Monday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Beavers.

Elliette Brewer was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. The team also got some help courtesy of Brielle Gray, who went 3-for-4 with two runs and one double.

DuBois' win bumped their record up to 11-7. As for Brashear, their loss dropped their record down to 0-5.

Brashear might still be hurting after the 17-1 defeat they got from DuBois when the teams last played back in May of 2023. Can the Bulls avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
