Volleyball Recap: Sioux City West Takes a Loss

Sioux City West was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn Hawks. The Wolverines were not able to make up for their loss to the Hawks from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

Sioux City West's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn, their victory ended a nine-match drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-12.

Sioux City West has already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Boyden-Hull/Rock Valley on the 27th. As for Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Okoboji on the 27th.
