Baseball Recap: Farmington Comes Up Short

After flying high against Goodwin RVT on Monday, Farmington came back down to earth. The River Hawks came up short against the New Milford Green Wave on Tuesday, falling 11-1. The match marked the River Hawks' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Farmington saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Michael Bemis, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-3. Bemis also hit a double, marking his first of the season. Ty Nogiec was another, getting on base in both of his plate appearances with two stolen bases.

Farmington's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for New Milford, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 4-0.

While Farmington had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
