Softball Recap: Voorhees Comes Up Short

Voorhees managed to slip by Hackettstown the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Vikings came up short against the Tigers on Friday, falling 10-0. The contest marked the first time this season in which the Vikings were not able to get on the board.

Voorhees saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ella Lagomarsino, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

Voorhees' loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-5. As for Hackettstown, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-6.

Coming up, Voorhees will square off against Rutgers Prep at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hackettstown, they will head out to face off against Sussex County Tech at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
