There's no place like home for Yucca Valley, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They put the hurt on the Desert Hot Springs Golden Eagles with a sharp 28-7 win on Friday. The Trojans haven't had any issues with the Golden Eagles recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.

Yucca Valley's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Aiden Shannon, who threw for 162 yards and a pair of TDs while completing 77.8% of his passes, and also rushed for 36 yards and one score. Clyde King was another key rusher, rushing for 132 yards and one touchdown.

The win got Yucca Valley back to even at 3-3. As for Desert Hot Springs, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-4.

Looking ahead, Yucca Valley will be playing in front of their home fans against Banning at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Desert Hot Springs, they will head out to challenge Twentynine Palms at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
