Ruskin Christian dropped their record down to 12-4-1 on Tuesday, which also ended the team's three-game streak of wins. They lost 12-1 to the Grace Christian Patriots. Having soared to a lofty 18 runs in the game before, the Warriors couldn't push the score so high this time.

As for Grace Christian, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-7. The result was nothing new for the Patriots, who have now won seven games by seven runs or more so far this season.

For Grace Christian's part, Ian Johns spent all six innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on three hits. Johns is becoming a predictor of the Patriots' success: when he allows at most one earned run the team is undefeated (and 6-7 when he doesn't).

At the plate, Ethan Heruska and Benjamin Fanelli did most of the damage at the plate: Heruska went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run, while Fanelli went 1-for-3 with three stolen bases and two runs. Fanelli has become a key player for Grace Christian: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 4-7 otherwise. Alex Perez was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

Ruskin Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Grace Christian, they will square off against St. Edmund Prep at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Patriots are facing the Eagles at the right time seeing as the Eagles are stuck on a nine-game losing streak.
