Baseball Game Preview: Scranton Knights vs. Delaware Valley Warriors

The Scranton Knights will face off against the Delaware Valley Warriors at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Delaware Valley took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Scranton, who comes in off a win.

On Monday, Scranton beat Valley View 4-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Knights.

Scranton's win was truly a team effort as three different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Adrian Hernandez, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. That double marked the first that Hernandez has hit this season.

Meanwhile, Delaware Valley came up short against Wallenpaupack Area on Monday, falling 10-1. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Delaware Valley now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Scranton, they picked up their first road victory, bumping their record up to 2-3.

Scranton got the 'W' when the teams last played back in May of 2025 against Delaware Valley by a conclusive 10-0 score. Do the Knights have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Warriors turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
