Basketball Recap: Lambert Triumphs

There's no place like home for Lambert, who bounced back after a loss on the road two weeks ago. They escaped with a win on Friday against the Sequoyah Chiefs by the margin of a single free throw, 61-60.

When it comes to explaining why Sequoyah lost, don't look at Milanni Abdus-Salaam. Despite the final result, she went 12 for 14 on her way to 26 points and eight rebounds. The game was Abdus-Salaam's seventh in a row with at least ten points. Carly Bass was another key player, putting up 17 points and five rebounds.
