Cassopolis is 9-1 against Marcellus since January of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Cassopolis Rangers will head out on the road to take on the Marcellus Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. Cassopolis knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven contests -- so hopefully Marcellus likes a good challenge.
Last Friday, Cassopolis beat Comstock 64-53.

Cassopolis' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Ayden Gillam, who posted 20 points and five boards. The match was Gillam's third in a row with at least 15 points. Another player making a difference was Jaylen Pratt, who scored 16 points.
Meanwhile, Marcellus didn't have too much trouble with Martin on Monday as they won 60-43. The Wildcats pushed the score to 50-22 by the end of the third, a deficit the Clippers cut but never quite recovered from.
Cassopolis better focus on containing Abram Coffey and Parker Adams as the pair were huge in Marcellus' win. Coffey went 8 for 12 on his way to 21 points along with six rebounds and three steals, while Adams dropped a double-double with 14 points and 11 boards. Adams has become a key player for Marcellus: the team is 4-2 when he posts at least ten rebounds, but 4-7 otherwise. Beau Ferguson was another key player, putting up nine points.
Cassopolis has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.7 points over those games. As for Marcellus, their win bumped their record up to 8-9.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Cassopolis has been crashing the boards this season, having averaged 26.9 boards per game. However, it's not like Marcellus struggles in that department as they've been averaging 28.5 rebounds. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
Cassopolis was able to grind out a solid victory over Marcellus in their previous matchup back in January, winning 60-52. The rematch might be a little tougher for Cassopolis since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
