Softball Recap: North Takes a Loss

North couldn't beat McClintock on Tuesday even though they stacked four runs on them in the fifth inning. The Mustangs lost 15-6 to the Chargers.

Natalie Figueroa made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

North has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-14 record this season. As for McClintock, the win (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 14-3.

While North had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
