It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Glenbard East had no problem doing just that  on Friday. They blew past the West Chicago Wildcats 63-29. The result was nothing new for the Rams, who have now won five contests by 34  points or more  so far this season.
 Glenbard East's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but  Michael Nee led the charge by throwing for 268 yards and four  touchdowns while picking up 12.2 yards per attempt.  Lucas Freese also helped out as he racked up 126 receiving yards.
 Despite the loss, West Chicago still got an impressive performance from   Carter Naranjo, who rushed for 201 yards and four  scores while picking up 7.4 yards per carry. Naranjo has become a key player for the Wildcats: the team is 4-2 when he posts  at  least  two  rushing touchdowns, but 1-3 otherwise.
Glenbard East pushed their record up to 9-1 with the  win, which was their tenth straight  at home dating back to last season. Those  home  victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 45.8 points this season. As for West Chicago, they have  traveled a rocky road recently, having  lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-5 record  this season.
 Glenbard East will welcome Batavia  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. The Rams will need to watch out since the Bulldogs have now posted at least 31  points  in their last three games. West Chicago does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
