Knox hadn't done well against Jimtown recently (they were 0-4 in their previous four matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. The Redskins walked away with a 6-3 victory over the Jimmies. This was a revenge game for the Redskins: when they faced off against the Jimmies back in April, they had to take a 8-6 defeat.
Bethany Barnes spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and one unearned) runs on eight hits and racked up six Ks.
