Basketball Game Preview: New Summerfield Hornets vs. Mt. Enterprise Wildcats

The New Summerfield Hornets will venture away from home to challenge the Mt. Enterprise Wildcats at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. New Summerfield hasn't scored more than 24 points for eight games straight, a trend the squad is eager to reverse.

Last Tuesday, New Summerfield took a blow against Overton, falling 44-17.

Meanwhile, Mt. Enterprise suffered their biggest loss since February 2nd on Tuesday. They had to suffer through a 58-27 loss at the hands of Douglass. While losing is never fun, the Wildcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 821st, while the Indians are ranked 310th).

New Summerfield's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Mt. Enterprise, their loss dropped their record down to 9-6.

Things could have been worse for New Summerfield, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 32-15 loss to Mt. Enterprise in their previous matchup back in January. Can New Summerfield avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
