Basketball Game Preview: Gray Stone Day Knights vs. West Stanly Colts + How To Watch

Gray Stone Day hasn't had much luck against West Stanly recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Knights will be playing in front of their home fans against the Colts at 7:30 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Gray Stone Day is headed into the game out to prove that what happened against Sun Valley on Tuesday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Knights were outmatched by the Spartans and fell 55-26. The Knights were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 41-10.

The losing side was boosted by Colt Greer, who went 5-for-7 en route to 12 points and seven rebounds.

Meanwhile, West Stanly suffered their biggest loss since January 7th on Tuesday. They were dealt an 82-42 defeat at the hands of Charlotte Latin. The Colts were down 54-32 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Gray Stone Day's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for West Stanly, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 0-2.

Gray Stone Day took a serious blow against West Stanly when the teams last played back in November of 2023, falling 70-15. That contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Knights were down 46-5.
