Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Somerville). They walked away with a 14-9 victory over the Maimonides M-Cats on Wednesday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 5-4 last Friday.

Somerville has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-12 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.8 runs over those games. As for Maimonides, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Somerville beat the M-Cats by a score of 14-9 on Thursday.
