Soccer Recap: Mascenic Regional Comes Up Short

Mascenic Regional was the 5-1 winner over Wilton-Lyndeborough when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Vikings came up short against the Warriors on Monday, falling 3-0. While losing is never fun, Mascenic Regional can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Hampshire soccer rankings (they are ranked 34th, while Wilton-Lyndeborough are ranked fourth).

Mascenic Regional's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5-1. As for Wilton-Lyndeborough, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-1.

Coming up, Mascenic Regional will venture away from home to square off against Concord Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Wilton-Lyndeborough, they will host Sunapee at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
