Softball Recap: Tri-City Comes Up Short

Tri-City lost against Pleasant Plains back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Tornadoes fell just short of the Cardinals by a score of 7-6.

Tri-City's loss dropped their record down to 6-3-1. As for Pleasant Plains, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-6-1 record this season.

Tri-City will be playing at home against Westville at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday. As for Pleasant Plains, they will face off against Jacksonville at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Cardinals are facing the Crimsons at the right time seeing as the Crimsons are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
