League recap: First place up for grabs as Pearl River and Nanuet jockey for top spot

This could be a critical week for Pearl River, which holds a 1.00-game lead over Nanuet for the league's top spot in the standings.

The Golden Knights (6-5, 2-1) are red-hot, having won five straight games, the longest such streak in Section 1 Conference 4 - B. The streak was extended by another 2 games over the past week, includinga 3-2 victory over Edgemont and a 1-0 win over Albertus Magnus.
