Football Recap: Columbia Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Columbia can now relate to. They were just a hair shy of victory on Monday and fell 8-7 to the North Marion Colts. The Tigers' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Columbia's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for North Marion, with the victory, they broke their ten-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-10.

Columbia does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for North Marion, they will take on Ridgeview at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Panthers' defense has only allowed 14.9 points per game this season, so the Colts' offense will have their work cut out for them.
