Basketball Recap: Jonesboro Comes Up Short

Jonesboro was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They had to suffer through a 61-13 loss at the hands of the North Little Rock Charging Wildcats. The game marked the Hurricane's lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Jonesboro's defeat dropped their record down to 4-18. As for North Little Rock, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 17-9 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Jonesboro will venture away from home to face off against Little Rock Southwest at 6:00 p.m. on February 21st. North Little Rock will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Bryant at 5:00 p.m. on February 25th.
