Salem Christian suffers ninth straight loss on the road

Recap: Salem Christian Eagles vs. Lehigh Valley Academy Jaguars

This season hasn't been kind to the Salem Christian Eagles, who are still winless after their sixth matchup. They were outmatched by Lehigh Valley Academy on the road and fell 59-24.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Lehigh Valley Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Ziyon Wilkins, who scored 15 points. Another player making a difference was Christopher Hunt, who scored 13 points.

Salem Christian dropped their record down to 0-6 with that loss, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Lehigh Valley Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 6-10 record this season.

Salem Christian will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against the Monarch at 7:30 p.m. on February 1st. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Pennsylvania (Veritas Academy is ranked 747th, while the Eagles are ranked 753rd). As for Lehigh Valley Academy, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against the Pirates at 6:45 p.m. on January 30th. Roberto Clemente Charter School is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.
