Football Game Preview: Eldorado Eagles vs. Flora Wolves

The Eldorado Eagles will square off against the Flora Wolves at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Flora took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Eldorado, who comes in off a win.

The home team had come away the winner the last seven times Eldorado and Hamilton County had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Eagles sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 26-23 win over the Foxes on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Eagles have posted since October 5, 2024.

Kaiden Henson continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 185 yards and three scores. The team also got some help courtesy of Maddex Rash, who rushed for 102 yards on only 11 carries.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Eldorado was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 332 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 188 rushing yards in seven consecutive games dating back to last season.

Meanwhile, Flora lost to Johnston City at home by a 38-20 margin on Friday. The Wolves haven't had much luck with the Indians recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Having lost for the first time this season, Flora fell to 4-1. As for Eldorado, their win ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-3.
