Softball Recap: West Boylston's Undefeated Season over After Four Games

West Boylston blew Gardner out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Wednesday Gardner got their revenge. The Lions fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 5-3. The loss was the Lions' first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, West Boylston fell to 3-1. As for Gardner, their win bumped their record up to 4-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. West Boylston will venture away from home to face off against Bromfield at 3:45 p.m. on Friday. As for Gardner, they will head out to challenge Quabbin Regional at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday.
