Walhalla took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Friday. They blew past the Pickens Blue Flame 14-4. The victory continues a trend for the Razorbacks in their matchups with the Blue Flame: they've now won eight in a row.
Collin Phillips was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he pitched four innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits. Phillips was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple.
In other batting news, Walhalla got a massive performance out of Carson Bibb, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-4. Another player making a difference was Nate Sanchez, who scored two runs while going 3-for-4.
Pickens' loss dropped their record down to 0-2.
