Basketball Recap: Barbe's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Six

Barbe waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with five straight wins... but they left with six. Everything went their way against the Sulphur Golden Tors as they made off with a 66-45 win. The Buccaneers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine games by 21 points or more this season.

Barbe has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 17-2 record this season. As for Sulphur, with the defeat, they broke their 12-game winning streak and moved their record to 14-2.

Barbe wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 37-21 victory against St. Thomas More on the 9th. As for Sulphur, they will head out to square off against South Beauregard at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. South Beauregard has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 192 points over their last three games.
