Baseball Recap: Gardiner Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Gardiner can now relate to. They lost 11-1 to the Fryeburg Raiders on Tuesday. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Gardiner saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jake Farnham, who went 2-for-3 with one double.

Gardiner's loss dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Fryeburg, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-6 record this season.

As of now, neither Gardiner nor Fryeburg have any future games scheduled.
