On Saturday, Fossil Ridge faced Regis Jesuit in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Fossil Ridge SaberCats sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over the Regis Jesuit Raiders. The win was nothing new for the SaberCats as they're now sitting on three straight.

Their offense was headlined by Luke Walder and Trevor Baldwin, who picked up seven kills apiece. They got some help from Joshua Lamsma and his 16 assists. Finally, Baldwin was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high two blocks.

Fossil Ridge now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Regis Jesuit, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.

Fossil Ridge wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Fort Lupton on the 8th. As for Regis Jesuit, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Riverdale Ridge on the 8th.
