 With a playoff game on the line, Woodcreek rose to the challenge  on Thursday. They skirted past the West Park Panthers  3-2. Three seems to be a good number for Woodcreek as the  squad scooped up a  victory with the same number of  runs in their previous game.
  Mason Ferris spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned  (and one unearned) run on five hits.
 At the plate,  Dylan Green was  excellent,  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances with two  stolen bases. Another player making a difference was  Conner Barth, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 1-for-3.
 On West Park's side, they saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Ryan Sisson, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 2-for-3.
 Woodcreek has  been performing  well recently as they've  won 16 of their last 19 contests,  which provided a nice bump to their 21-9 record  this season. As for West Park, their defeat dropped their record down to 16-14.
 As of now, neither Woodcreek nor West Park have any future games scheduled.
