Football Recap: Dunnellon Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Dunnellon's offense. They were outmatched by the Bradford Tornadoes and fell 35-0. The Tigers have struggled against the Tornadoes recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Dylan Curry threw for 72 yards on seven of 20 attempts. Iterrean Mitchell was his top target, picking up 29 receiving yards. On the ground, Tony Tanner rushed for 69 yards.

Iyen Addison was nothing short of spectacular for Bradford: he rushed for 134 yards and two touchdowns on only 11 carries. Another player making a difference was Cy Cubbedge, who threw for 138 yards and a pair of TDs.

Dunnellon's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Bradford, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Dunnellon has already played their next game, a 28-14 win against West Port on the 5th. As for Bradford, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 14-12 victory against South Sumter on the 5th.
