East Ridge and Hixson are an even 5-5 against one another since September of 2015, but not for long. After each having a week off, the two teams will shake off the cobwebs and hit the field against one another at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. East Ridge is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak.

Last Friday, East Ridge had to suffer through a 56-14 loss at the hands of Signal Mountain.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Hixson challenged Red Bank last Friday. The Wildcats took a 27-17 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lions. The Wildcats haven't had much luck with the Lions recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Although Hixson took the loss, they still got scores from Deuantre Baulding Jr and Jake Pollock.

East Ridge's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Hixson, their loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 3-5.
