On Friday William Masterson didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over seven innings pitched. The performance also marked the fewest earned runs (zero) Masterson has had since back in April of 2024. As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was his third in a row with more than five strikeouts. On the year, he has an ERA of 3.04 over 27.7 innings pitched.
