Volleyball Recap: Permian's Undefeated Season over After Five Games

If Permian was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Pecos on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Panthers took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lewisville Farmers on Thursday. The match marked the first time this year in which the Panthers were not able to get on the board.

Having lost for the first time this season, Permian fell to 4-1. As for Lewisville, their win bumped their record up to 4-6.

Looking ahead, Permian will be taking part in a tournament against Keller Central at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Lewisville, they will challenge Ryan at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Farmers are facing the Raiders at the right time seeing as the Raiders are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
