Football Recap: Antigo Comes Up Short

If Antigo was riding high fresh off their 54-6 takedown of Sturgeon Bay last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Red Robins had to suffer through a 51-18 loss at the hands of the Medford Raiders. The Red Robins haven't had much luck with the Raiders recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Antigo now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Medford, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Antigo will take on rival Tomahawk at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Medford is set to face off against their familiar foe Merrill at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
